Bernard J. McLafferty received his Juris Doctor Degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1961. After a judicial clerkship and two years as an Assistant District Attorney, he commenced the full-time practice of law. His principal concentration has been in Civil Litigation (major personal injury and wrongful death), Wills and Estates (planning, administration and litigation) and Real Estate. Mr. McLafferty is rated AV (the highest rating possible as to both legal ability and ethical standards) by Martindale Hubbell, the universally recognized peer review rating agency for lawyers.

Mr. McLafferty is a founding member and past president of the Montgomery County Trial Lawyers Association, as well as a former Officer and Director of the Montgomery County Estate Planning Council. From 1980 through 200, he served as Solicitor to the Register of Wills of Montgomery County, providing legal advice to that office as to the validity of documents submitted to probate, and conducting all Will contest hearings. He served as President of both the Montgomery Bar Association (1996) and the Montgomery Bar Foundation (1997).

Jeffrey A. Kroberger received his Juris Doctor degree from Delaware Law School of Widener College (1979), where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. After serving as Assistant Public Defender for Montgomery County for two years, he commenced the full time practice of law. His principal concentration has been Civil Litigation (major personal injury and wrongful death), Wills and Estates and Employment Law focusing on the representation of defendants in Employment matters. Mr. Kroberger is a member of the Montgomery County and Pennsylvania Bar Association, The Association of the Trial Lawyers of America, and a member of the bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (where he serves as a member of the Federal Arbitration Panel), and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Bernard J. McLafferty, Jr. received his Juris Doctor degree from the Villanova University School of Law in 1989. He received his LL.M. in Taxation, and Certificate in Estate Planning from Villanova in 2001. He has been admitted to practice before all Federal and State Courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a former law clerk for the Honorable Joseph A. Smyth of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. He has tried both bench and jury trials in all five counties in the Philadelphia area. His principal concentration has been Estate Planning and Administration, Tax Planning, and Civil Litigation (major personal injury and wrongful death). Mr. McLafferty is an active member of the Montgomery Bar Association where he currently is Vice-Chair of the Orphans’ Court Rules Committee, and is a former Chair of the Probate and Tax Section. He is Second Vice President of the Montgomery County Estate Planning Council, and is a member of the Probate Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. McLafferty has lectured at numerous continuing legal education courses for attorneys and paralegals in the area of Probate, Estates and Trusts.
